St. Anna Schäffer

Today we celebrate the feast day of one of my favorite saints St. Anna Schäffer. St. Anna has played a very important role in my life ever since I took the time to learn about her last December. St. Anna was born on February 18, 1882. While St. Anna was working, she had unfortunately slipped and she had injured her legs in a washing machine. Even after this very tough event St. Anna had never lost her optimism at all and she became even more devoted to her faith even after the constant suffering that she had to endure daily after her injury. St. Anna had mystical experiences, during one occasion she was able to receive the stigmata which she tried to hide at all cost. During the year 1925 St. Anna was diagnosed with colon cancer. Later on, St. Anna had passed away on October 5, 1925 after she had received the communion. Although St. Anna had lost the ability to speak, she spoke one last time and she had said “Jesus I love you” St. Anna's feast day is celebrated on October 5. St. Anna is a truly amazing saint, she has helped me during difficult moment. If you ever need help, and guidance, ask St. Anna for help, her intercession is truly powerful and incredible.

Prayer to St. Anna Schäffer: St. Anna intercede that we may be able to guide more people to Christ out of love, kindness, peace, respect and mercy. St. Anna, we pray that you may help us to be successful in all of our work, and exams, and help us to overcome any challenges that we may encounter. Also, St. Anna help us to trust in Christ every day. Amen St. Anna pray for us St. Joseph pray for us May we continue to strengthen our journey to sainthood and keep others in our prayers.
