St Joseph of Cupertino
Today we celebrate the feast day of one of my favorite saints because of how powerful his intercession and guidance is during tests or test preparation, this saint is St. Joseph of Cupertino.
During his life St. Joseph of Cupertino was really well known for levitating during prayer. Ever since he was a child, St. Joseph had shown a very large love for prayer. After spending some time with the Capuchins, he had joined the Conventual Franciscans. St. Joseph was also able to study for the priesthood. Though studies were very difficult for him to understand, St. Joseph had gained a lot of knowledge from prayer. St. Joseph due to all the knowledge he gained from prayer was ordained during the year 1628.
St. Joseph’s tendency to levitate when he was in prayer was sometimes a cross; some people had actually came to see this. St. Joseph’s gift led him to be a very humble, patient, and obedient, even though at times he may have been greatly tempted and felt forsaken by God. St. Joseph would actually fast a lot and he wore iron chains for much of his life.
St. Joseph was canonized during the year 1767. In the investigation that had occurred, 70 incidents of levitation were recorded. St. Joseph is the patron saint of air travelers, astronauts and pilots.
Prayer to St. Joseph of Cupertino:
St. Joseph of Cupertino intercede that we may be able to guide more people to Christ through actions of love, charity and mercy. St. Joseph of Cupertino we pray that you may be with us while we prepare for a test or exam and intercede that we may be able to know all the information needed to answer every question on the test.
Amen
St. Joseph of Cupertino pray for us
St. Joseph pray for us
May we continue to strengthen our journey to sainthood and keep others in our prayers.
